PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — June 4, 2026 — Strivers Row Media —As if to put the entire field and the entire golf world on notice, Lin Jie-en further cemented her worthiness for inclusion among the world’s very best by scoring a hole-in-one on the par 3 6th hole at Riviera Country Club during her final practice round on Wednesday June 3, 2026 in preparation for the 81st playing of the U.S. Women’s Open being contested there from June 4-7, 2026. Jie-en’s week of preparation was as much fun as it was hard work. Among the highlights of her experience was meeting two legends with whom she shares a link, i.e. Lucy Li. who was the youngest ever competitor as a U.S. Women’s Open when she qualified at the tender age of 11, and Lydia Ko, who needs no introduction and who is the youngest ever enshrinee in the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame, a distinction she earned at the age of just 27.
